In this charming advent novel, each of the 24 chapters is sealed behind perforated edges, so that readers can use a ruler to open one chapter each day in the countdown to Christmas!
Elliot lives with his parents, who raise reindeer at the edge of the forest.
At the beginning of December, his cousin Flora comes to visit. As soon as she arrives, strange events start to happen, and a hostile creature comes to prowl... And then there is one reindeer that is completely different. His coat shines and sparkles, and he even seems to fly! Is he some kind of magical animal?
