A rubber plant is generally an easy plant to look after. It requires bright indirect sunlight that isn't too hot. During growing season (summer) it needs to be kept moist. It's also recommended to wipe the leaves with a damp cloth. A good indicator that it's been watered too much is that the leaves will turn yellow and brown and eventually fall off.
Pro tip: to encourage new leaves on your rubber plant, cut a slit in the node where the leaf fell off.
