It's important to note that these guys are not true pine trees at all, and are not suitable to cold temperatures! They are a tropical plant that should be kept away from cold drafts and above freezing temps. They also prefer humid conditions, and bright direct sunlight, but can also tolerate bright indirect.
They can be rather forgiving if you forget to water them. Let the soil dry out in-between waterings. If the needles turn yellow, the plant needs more water!
PETS: The Norfolk Pine is toxic to pets if ingested. Symptoms are vomiting and depression. We recommend monitoring your pet around this plant, or placing it in a space where it cannot be reached.
